很多奇幻小說借鏡來創造世界，如經典是魔幻王國 The Chronicles of Narnia by C. S. Lewis，主角們穿越 England 及 Narina 便是一個好例子。
平行宇宙說明類似是一個事件以不同過程進行或者一個不同的決定的後續發展會發展出不同的平行宇宙中的，我就發覺很多套用於時間 Time Travel的電影故事，我覺得平行宇宙太不易令人明白，如果想想這點，很容易想起一種學說「祖父悖論Grandfather paradox」：如果你回到過去殺死了你阿爺，那麼當然你麻麻不會生下你父母，你當然不存在，既然你是不存在又怎能回到過去殺死了你阿爺？？你又是否會被這個「過去」的宇宙排斥而消失呢？(像回到過去第一集)
我在書局買了一本全集的英國文學小說 The Chronicles of NARNIA 納尼亞傳奇, 全套 7 集, 這本書一看便很喜歡了, 現在閒時便會翻幾頁來看看。我買了原英文版因為我喜歡看看到原汁原味的故事。作者為CS LEWIS,他和魔戒作者托爾金是好朋友, 以下是一些納尼亞傳奇介紹:

A LONG LONG TIME AGO....
相傳上古神獸~~"豬公大魔導"生長在火星，受異界魔力影響，化為惡靈,遺害人間。
後來,有一位偉大的英雄~~"女皇費安",她與"豬公大魔導"惡戰過後,在垂死的一刻,把"豬公大魔導"封印在屎坑內,暫時不能作惡。
